Tampere University of Technology in Hervanta is well prepared to host small and large conferences alike. The facilities include an auditorium for 500 people and lecture rooms seating 120 to 260 people. University is available for international conferences mainly in summer.
The University of Technology is part of an esteemed scientific and high-tech community, that has gradually evolved in Hervanta. This community comprises the University of Technology, Hermia Technology Centre, Nokia Mobile Phones, Nokia Research Center, and the laboratories of the Technical Research Centre of Finland.

Juvenes is the main catering company at Tampere University of Technology. Juvenes was the first catering company in Finland awarded with Chaîne de Rôtisseurs Blazon. Juvenes Corporation offers high quality catering services also in other facilities in Tampere. Juvenes is owned by student federations in Tampere.
